Is the rhythmic sound of a leaky faucet all too familiar to you? Don't panic! A common cause of faucet leaks is worn out washers. Overtime the rubber material of the washer wears down, giving way to a leak. Believe it or not, this is a repair job you can do yourself!
Before you replace the washer be sure to turn off the main water supply and remove the faucet handle & valve stem assembly cover. After you get those out of the way- take out the old, worn washer, & replace it with a new one.
It's as simple as that. Happy Maintenance Monday!
