    New Homes Sales Agent

    The Dragas Companies, a well-established residential home builder and real estate developer in the Hampton Roads area has opportunities available for proven real estate sales representatives at our new home communities. Candidates should be licensed Virginia real estate agents and possess a proven track record of sales and a passion for providing top-notch customer service to customers. Excellent communication and follow-up are a must.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one sales consultation with prospective buyers at our new home communities by providing information about the community, demonstrating and touring the new home models, assessing qualifications and needs of prospective buyers and closing the sale.
    • Prepare all contract paperwork and assist in upgrade selections using our sales contract software, Newstar.
    • Maintain a follow-up program for prospects and buyers using our CRM, Lasso.
    • Provide weekly traffic reports, maintenance lists for model homes, supply lists and competition shopping reports.

    New Home Sales Assistant

    The Dragas Companies, a well-established residential builder and real estate developer in the Hampton Roads area has an opportunity available for a part-time Sales Assistant to work at our new home communities. The candidate must be available to work weekends in a fast-paced environment.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Welcoming prospective buyers to our new home communities
    • Registering new prospects and providing tours of our model homes
    • Explaining features of our model homes while answering questions from prospective buyers
    • Assisting sales team with administrative tasks
    • Promptly answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails
    • Data entry in our CRM, Lasso operating system to update communications with our prospective buyers
    • Assisting buyers with selecting options to complete their home purchase

    Accounting Specialist

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Post, analyze and reconcile general ledgers through trial balance for multiple companies using a variety of software programs
    • Analyze accounts and record general ledger entries, including intercompany transactions
    • Reconcile bank accounts

    • Prepare financial statements
    • Update and maintain fixed asset schedules

    Construction Superintendent

    The Dragas Companies, a well-established residential home builder and developer in the Hampton Roads area, seeks the talents of an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our expanding company.

    Position Description:

    The Construction Superintendent coordinates all community construction activities and supervises field personnel and trade partners to build high-quality homes and recreational amenities on time and within budget.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and supervise the construction of single and multi-family homes to approved plans, specifications, and company standards of excellence.
    • Maintain home construction schedules. 
    • Authorize payments to trade partners for completed work. 
    • Schedule city inspections.
    • Perform completed home quality control inspections.
    • Work with Production Coordinators to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Train and evaluate assigned Dragas field personnel.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Schedules and monitors work of trade partners and Punch Out staff.
    • Assists Superintendent with the supervision and performance of on-site construction activities.
    • Inspects material deliveries for completeness and quality.
    • Coordinates with Dragas sales associates and administrative staff to maintain accurate home delivery schedules.
    • Reviews homes with City Inspectors to ensure compliance with all residential construction code requirements.
    • Fills in for Punch Out personnel and Superintendents as assigned.
    • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.


    Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
    • One year of residential construction experience required.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Light construction skills desirable (painting, drywall finishing, carpentry, siding, etc.)
    • OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
    • RLD certification (preferred)

    Construction Punch Out Technician

    The Dragas Companies, a well-established residential home builder and real estate developer in the Hampton Roads area is seeking the talents of a Punch-out Technician to join our team of professional builders delivering beautiful and quality-built homes.  The Punch-Out Technician is responsible for efficiently completing light construction and other “punch out” activities to Dragas Companies’ standards in preparation for delivery of newly built homes to our buyers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Completes “punch out” activities for new construction homes to include minor painting, drywall repair, light carpentry, basic labor, etc.

    • Assists with completion of homeowner warranty requests.
    • Assists in maintaining community standards.
    • Maintains professional communication with all homeowners and internal staff.
    • Maintains cleanliness of job site and individual units.

    Maintenance Technician

    The Dragas Companies, a well-established Real Estate Builder and Developer in the Virginia Beach area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance team at one of our large apartment communities. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the internal and external structure of the apartment community. The Maintenance Technician must have skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, grounds upkeep, carpentry, painting, and janitorial and electrical services.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Inspects apartment units and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and needed repairs
    • Performs minor electrical repairs (e.g. repair/replacement of wall switches and outlets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, replacement of incandescent and fluorescent bulbs)
    • Performs minor plumbing repairs (e.g. replacement or repairs of leaks in drains, faucets, unclogging of drains, replacement of washers and hoses)
    • Performs painting, carpentry (e.g. hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
    • Prepares apartment units for rental, turnover
    • Maintain grounds, parking lot, and work areas
    • Performs routine cleaning and maintenance 
    • On-call Service Rotation 
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor


    Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:

    • High school diploma or GED Equivalency 
    • Two or more years working experience in residential apartment community 
    • Experience with HVAC

    Leasing Consultant
