Property Management Account Manager


The Dragas Companies of Virginia Beach is seeking a full-time, professional and well-organized individual to join our team at Columbus Station Apartments at Town Center in Virginia Beach. The Property Management Account Manager is responsible for maintaining accountability for all resident account payments, processing and collections. Responsibilities include:

• Processing rent payments, monthly monitoring, and collection duties in relation to unpaid resident invoices and other monies owed, 5-Day notices, filing UD's, court appearances
• Processing Final Resident Statements (deposits and charges)
• Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Assists with resident communication and resolving resident issues and concerns.
• Assist with residential retention and the execution of leases.
• Show apartment units to prospects and process applications
• Completes other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1 year of experience in accounts management (posting payments)
• Experience with property management software, Onesite software (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Experience in residential property management (preferred)
• Experience in collections (delinquent accounts)
• Excellent customer service skills (required)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
• Good credit/financial standing
• Willing to work a weekend rotation schedule

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand or walk or sit alternatively depending on the day's needs
• Bend, stoop, and squat for filing frequently needed
• Drive automobile and provide own transportation
• Write/type for communication frequently needed
• Grasp/turn telephone and doorknob
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment
• Lift/carry 10-40 lbs. on occasion
